Flip-flops are believed to originate from Kobe, Japan back in the 1950s. I started flip-flops manufacturing back in 1998. Being in the industry for more than 20 years, I have witnessed the rise and fall of the industry. From relocating to bankruptcy, many factories have disappeared. Before we knew it, Tsukumo has become the only manufacturer who is still operating in Japan. Our mission is to continue manufacturing as the only brand of flip-flops in Japan. We are determined to improve our product by adding new spices and expanding them over the world to satisfied the contemporary demand.
